ABOUT EDEN

 The Sacred House of Eden is a non-profit Visionary Temple founded in 2018 in the beautiful state of Colorado.  The founders of Eden bring with them over 20 years of experience and feel deeply honored to do this sacred work.  Our Temple works with 4 different medicine blends, and we are the only Retreat of our kind in the United States. 

At the helm of our team is Dr. Stefanie, a Doctor of Psychology who has conducted over 1600 individual plant medicine ceremonies and integrations. Her approach is a non-pathologizing, psycho-spiritual orientation that fosters a sacred synergy with our medicines.  IFS coaching is heavily integrated into the Eden framework. 

At the heart of our dedicated team stands co-founder Doug Moe, a deeply trusted shamanic medicine man, alongside a collective of breathwork practitioners, meditation guides, yoga mentors, sound healers, and compassionate caregivers united in service to humanity.

Eden was established in 2018, and as stewards in the plant medicine space for many years, we have seen a lot. It is with a sense of responsibility, that we feel compelled to make mention of some of what we are seeing as it relates to individuals wanting to sit safely with the medicines in retreat.

Surely there are practitioners who are doing this work with pure intention, reverence for the medicine, and the appropriate skill sets and mastery required to hold safe space for deep and vulnerable work. It is imperative that the utmost care for guests' safety and respect for the intimacy of the sacred journey is honored. To those practicing with this level of integrity and training, we say "thank you."  There are, however, many who are not practicing with pure intention, deep reverence, safety, nor ethical responsibility. Almost weekly, we are seeing retreat centers pop up overnight. These centers unfortunately are often led by individuals with little to no psychological education, no medical background, and a lack of competence that is vital for ethical and safe facilitation.

• We keep the number of guests in any given Retreat under 10. It is not our practice to pack in dozens of participants.
