Possibly the most profound experience of my life!

     The retreat revealed a mystical experience for me. This is possibly the most profound experience of my life. I had identified as a hopeful agnostic. I am now comforted by a strong belief in a spiritual existence.

     Attending this retreat was over a year in the making! I'm a firm believer that this type of healing is so impactful when it's chosen because you feel called to it.      My partner and I decided to do a private couple's retreat and we absolutely loved the experience.      Eden changes lives. But it's not for the non-committed. Dr. Stefanie holds people accountable to being and living the work we learn prior to the actual time at Eden and afterwards. Although my experience wasn't exactly like other clients with feelings of joy and love, I believe that Eden met me where I am and gave me what I needed to continue to heal from past trauma, abuse, and abandonment.

More than I could have ever hoped for!

     Dr. Stefanie and her team have changed my life. I felt safe, seen, and heard. I was considering a shaman retreat in Peru, but decided to go to Eden instead. From the first call with Dr. S, I knew this was where I was meant to go. After going through this experience, I am truly grateful that I trusted my instincts to go to Eden. 

     It is hard to explain all that happened for me on my retreat. Words fall short of grasping the full experience, but I will do my best in the hopes that this helps bring others to this incredible experience. The ceremonies were perfectly crafted for deep healing work. They were difficult and beautiful, silly and profound. I am still blown away with all that lives within my mind. The integration sessions were essential in helping me to make sense of my experience and how they translate to my daily life. It was years of therapy in one weekend! 

     Dr. S has a unique style that guides you right to the heart of issues, but with deep compassion and profound wisdom. I found her guidance to be the ideal combination of a trained clinician and divinely gifted healer. I have never seen anyone be able to look into people's souls like that and then explain things in a clear, simple, practical way. The medicine man Doug was knowledgeable about the plants, and I found him to be immediately trustworthy. His respect for the plants and what they are for, versus what they are not for, was clear from the beginning. This made me feel safe to be vulnerable. OMG, The stars have aligned!!!! 

     After almost 3 decades of dealing with past trauma that had scarred me from childhood through to my adult life. My personal story might sound like a tragedy of a dramatic movie to a regular person if I had to explain it all. But from my very 1st interaction with Dr. S and Doug, I felt I was at the right place, with the right people, at the right time after more than 12hrs of research! They encompass the true authentic gift to meet people where they are, no matter who you are or where you come from. Making it easy to let your guard down and get to the healing that you came for.

     On the feedback form there was a question asking to rate, from 1 to 10, the level of commitment on the part of the team at Eden. I couldn’t conceive of a rating below 10. While at Eden, I experienced the absolute warmth of sincere care and genuine positive regard.      This retreat is without question the most spiritually profound experience of my life. This experience literally changed my life!

     WOW!!! I’m not even sure where to begin. This experience literally has changed my life. Massive transformations were made with me and everyone in the group. Hands down the most magical and transformative experience of my life. If the world had more places like this, it would be a much happier and peaceful planet. Dr. S is a gifted saint and the Eden Team is incomparable! The thought put into EVERY aspect of this retreat was mind blowing. They’ve thought of every possible way to make you feel comfortable, safe and at peace during the whole experience/transformation.

     I was sooooo nervous about how the new Covid protocols would effect the overall experience. It was never ideal to be wearing a mask, but our current reality with Covid is not ideal. The overall experience was not effected at all by the new protocols. I felt it was every bit as transformative and impactful. In fact at times it made me feel safer because I knew that the Eden Team did not waiver when it came to our safety. Our safety was a top priority, which for me, in a vulnerable state, was a huge comfort!

     I am 32 years old and have struggled with severe depression for over 20 years. I had been on and off antidepressants for several years and I was tired of just masking my depression. I was ready for peace from the turmoil of a depressed mind. I was ready to do the work to heal, I was ready for a solution. By the time I left Eden, I had unburied myself from the turmoil of a depressed mind and joy, happiness and peace was available to me for the first time in a VERY long time. I knew what steps I needed to continue to take to take to find peace and purpose. The work done at Eden was not easy, but so worth it! It takes diving in, being vulnerable, and surrendering to growth and healing and that is tough, brave work! 

     I cannot say enough good things about Dr. S, Doug, and the entire Eden Team. If you’re ready to heal, you’ve found the right place! I have now been off antidepressants for 3 weeks and I can’t remember ever feeling better. Even on bad days, I feel better than I did on my good days pre- Eden. Such a magical and beautiful experience. I feel so fortunate to have been able to experience Eden and could not recommend it more highly to anyone searching for healing from a wounded heart, mind, or soul... or even just growth. 

     I highly recommend the 3rd night! The inner healing work was very impactful and was a great way close the journey at Eden! Thank you Eden for truly changing my view of the world around me.      The Eden Team allowed us to learn from each other, they teach us with a light-handed guidance. Letting us find our own truths, our own path. See our own light.

Positively Magical!

     Before arriving at Eden, I felt like my life was becoming a blur. I was feeling increasingly numb and uninterested. I was losing appreciation and passion for the things in life that, at the time, I believed made me who I was. Approaching 27 years old, I realized that this was an unacceptable state to be in. I found out about Eden from a family member and it sounded quite promising after doing my own research. I made a special effort not to enter with too many expectations, but I couldn’t help but dream up a few hopeful outcomes. What happened to me there was not what I was anticipating, but much more. 

I had gravely underestimated the power of having this experience in a group setting. The Eden Team is incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, but I felt like I got just as much benefit from the words and visible transformations of my co-participants. I must confess that some of the work involved was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, but it was absolutely necessary. So Much Gratitude! 

     I wanted to thank you again for such a wonderful weekend! I tried to come into the experience with few expectations and I was truly blown away with what I came out with after just a few short days. A rocket ship, as Dr. S mentioned on Day 1, was truly a perfect analogy. 

I now recognize how much my lack of trust plays into my inability to open up and share. I had previously thought of it more as a trait of being an introvert, and while that may play a role to a certain degree, Night 1 really opened the doors to my past in a way I'd never seen it before. Being in such a safe space, surrounded by a group of thoughtful, caring, and introspective people, was a game changer for me. 

     I moved at the beginning of the year to be alone and clear my mind of the traumas I've experienced. Profoundly Moving and Wonderful.

     After decades on this planet, I was struggling with where the path of life was leading me. With years of uncertainty and not feeling right, I was seeking realignment and a renewed sense of direction for the future ahead. On the referral of a close friend, I embraced the opportunity to attend Eden to rediscover my joy and zest for life again.

     Upon arriving at Eden, I was warmly welcomed with kindness and sincerity. The Eden Team was jovial, humorous and fun loving. They embraced a very diverse group of retreat attendees with open arms. Our group was a wide variety of young, mature, friends, strangers, active and retired professionals. It seemed we all were seeking an experience that offered us a greater sense of self. And it also seemed that all of us were there for enlightenment. That is exactly what we found with Eden. 

     What happened from that point on was nothing short of a divine intervention for this 50-something year old man. Set and setting was key for me to be comfortable and Eden hit the mark perfectly. The clarity and transparency around intentions and sacred sessions shared by the Eden Team was critically important for me to transcend beyond the limitations I knew for myself. I was “all in” and committed to rediscovering the power of me and how much better I could be when I faced my fears and challenged my weaknesses. 

     Throughout the weekend, I kept whispering to myself, “Where has this been?” The experience was a journey full of curiosity and exploration and I LOVED IT!!! At the completion of each sacred session and integration, I strengthened my sense of self and enhanced my vision of the road ahead. I discovered what I already knew about myself……..that I am more and have more to give to my loved ones and the community I live. 

     From the group’s first meet and greet to the last goodbye and every sacred session, modality, integration and interaction in between, Eden delivered a powerful result. A result that I intend to practice and engage in the months and years ahead.

     My experience was possibly one of the most beneficial and significant events of my life thus far. Five Stars! A Journey of Smiles! 

     Curious, intrigued, interested, ready to explore, but stressed with how, when, where and confronted with an apprehension of can this be real... until I talked with Dr. S. Then, there wasn't a doubt in my mind of what I had hoped for. Consumed with energy and excitement, I couldn't wait.      I have been on two retreats at Eden over the past year. I cannot thank the amazing Dr. S, Doug, and their Team enough! Until we meet again

     My words do not come easy and never really matches what I am feeling or thinking inside my head. I am not sure exactly what happened over the weekend. I am so ok with that. A Temple of Divine Vibration 

     When I arrived at Eden I wasn’t sure what I would need to receive. I had just lost a child to a severe mental illness and had been so emotionally shut off for years. At my intro, I told the group I had not cried in 3 years. Luckily I knew this was not normal given my circumstances and wanted to take the journey to self discovery. 

     Since Eden I am happier, more grounded, less chatter, and understand the voice in my head was never actually me. I released my self from the guilt I carried over my children, and realized completely that I had tried everything, truly. I fell in love with my heart, and was given a mirror to see my true self, a divine loving creature with supreme ability to love people for exactly who they are. What a gift to want to befriend yourself. 

     What I witnessed on my journey not only in myself, but in my group of travelers, was unreal. Being a trauma specialist with a Bachelor's in psychology, I had to see it to believe it. The Eden staff is top notch, not for one second did I feel unsafe. My friend also felt safe - which given her own history - was nothing short of a miracle. I am forever changed!

     My Eden experience just ended on June 14, 2021! I had a major breakthrough in forgiving myself for something I have been carrying for 27 years! I did not know that this event was the cause of my suffering all of this time. I was shown exactly what I needed to address (I had come with other ideas).

     Through the course of the retreat, I came to forgive myself. Honestly, I did not think it would happen for me, how could it? How could this work? I was skeptical, but wanted to believe it so badly. I was so grateful I was able to let go and be. In this short amount of time, I learned to stop punishing myself with unhealthy food, alcohol and lack of exercise. I learned to have more compassion for others, to love them, to be open and forgiving. We are all doing our best, we all hurt and we all want to be our best selves, sometimes we just don't know how. Going forward, I will get out of my bed and take care of my body. I will spend more time outside. I will be present with the people in my life and enjoy the moment instead of looking at what is next all of the time. I will stop hating myself, judging myself and comparing myself. I am enough.

Top 3 Most Important Things I Have Done for Myself.

     Along with getting married and having my first child, my recent trip to the Sacred House of Eden was one of the most important things I've done for myself.      From the minute we set foot on the retreat, I felt an immense amount of energy and intention that went on to make each and everyone's experience unforgettable. 

     I was initially reluctant to go to the retreat and sleep with the other individuals in the same room (for both comfort and safety reasons). However, I immediately felt a sense of safety once I was told that everyone will have an angel to look after them during their stay. And oh my, the nests are the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on! My angel was the most caring person. She hugged me while I was bawling my eyes out and took care of me whenever I asked. 

     The sacred ceremonies were such a beautiful and unforgettable experience where I was able to untap my inner child traumas while feeling immense love from within and explore the realms of the universe. For the first time, I felt and believed in my greatness and saw my creativity and playfulness. This team made sure that the work does not end after the ceremonies. We had several integrations where we discussed with the group our plan of action and analyze what the experience was trying to tell us. This allowed the group to feel connected and be vulnerable. We all realized that we all yearn for the same love and experience the same fears. I've never felt such connection from a retreat group.

Top 5 Life-Changing Experience!

     My experience at the Sacred House of Eden was a top 5 life changing experience. I went into it already feeling very happy with my life and so had no real expectations about what might come out of the experience. But what I personally found through the experience was just how much more fulfilling my life could be if I allowed myself to truly feel my emotions and use them, rather than always trying to shut them down to "protect" myself.      My Eden experience was everything I could've hoped for and more. A Profound & Life-Changing Journey

     I'm so happy that I found the Sacred House of Eden and only wish I had found them decades ago! The knowledge, expertise and kindness that my wife and I received was beyond our expectations.

Transformation physically, mentally, and spiritually!

     I showed up for my retreat feeling completely broken.  I was dealing with severe PTSD which was impacting daily living.  The whole retreat experience was an epiphany as well as an exercise in healing.  I experienced a re-mapping of the brain.  PTSD was greatly reduced.  I was and am able to access a deeper space in meditation.  What used to take 25 minutes is now accessed in 5 minutes.  I feel several old traumas were finally healed and the change has still remained with me 18 months later.  I look forward to going further with this work.

     My experience at the Sacred House of Eden was a miracle as far as I can tell. After years of struggling with treatment-resistant depression, I departed the Eden group experience with a completely different energy, outlook, belief system, identity, and way of relating to others. Life-Changing and I Have Never Felt More Safe and Treated Like Family!

     I was recommended to visit the Sacred House of Eden from a close coworker, who knew I was interested. It took a few months to be ready financially and mentally, but the decision was made long ago. And it just so happened a special event was scheduled during the time frame I was planning on attending. 

     I received my intake call and immediately felt comfortable with Dr. S's professionalism and demeanor. She answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable. It took what seemed forever for the special day to come. I was so excited. 

     Upon arrival at the meeting spot, I met other individuals who had traveled from all over the US. Everyone was so friendly. We were shortly picked up and arrived at the most beautiful house to begin a covid cleanse/check-in. One at a time we were let in and required to shower and change into comfortable clothes. We were then greeted by the Angels and were explained the rules, schedule, and had any questions answered. The Angels were so helpful and knowledgeable. Possibly the best thing I have ever done for myself.

     Taking this journey was well outside of my comfort zone but as soon as I arrived at Eden, I was immediately put at ease. The Eden Team was so warm and accommodating and the house was gorgeous and very comfortable. Meals were simple, delicious and cooked to order for anyone who had special dietary requirements. The retreat gave my quest for spiritual growth a turbo boost! I believe this is because of the integration coaching sessions where Dr. S very effectively helped each and every one of us to understand how to incorporate our experience into our daily lives. Most influential experience of my life.

     I don't know that there are words to fully describe the gratitude I feel for the experience I had at this beautiful retreat. My experience was humbling, clarifying, transformative, nourishing, and life-changing. I am so grateful I found Eden

     I had booked a retreat in Peru and found out there were going to be over 80 people with me. This was terrifying to me. Just the thought of that made my anxiety go through the roof. I cancelled my Peru retreat and came to Eden instead. Thank God I did. This team is devoted to world-class work. They took excellent care of us, kept our group small (only 8 of us for the weekend), and did deep and thorough work with each of us. We each also had our own bedroom with 5-star gorgeous amenities. Life Changing!!! You want to change your life, take this trip!!!

     Greetings - I'm not sure where to begin. I was having 9 months of soul-searching before I found this place. I was praying, crying, and wanting more from life. My kids are grown and having their own lives, I am single, COVID hit, and I had a lot of free time on my hands. All the plans came together quickly and next thing I know, I'm at the retreat with 5 complete strangers. Sweet Sara was the first to greet us and I remember her saying, "You are at the right place," and all my fears disappeared. 

     The location is breathtaking. The views are gorgeous, the rooms are spotless and nothing is left out, making you feel at home and like you are on a luxury retreat. There are notes on your bed at night, and notes placed quietly out for you to find when you wake up. The schedule is light and you will have plenty of time to read a book, take a walk, make new friends, nap, write a letter or draw a picture. 

     The Eden Team will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Fans and humidifiers will be running for your comfort, and home cooked meals for any type of taste buds. They even put mint in the water!!! If you are up when no one else is, you can nibble on the snacks. They also have a collection of OTC's in case you need an Advil or something for a tummy ache. 

     My heart was heavy when I arrived but not when I left. There were a lot of tears shed over past traumas and I left feeling love again for myself, something I don't recall feeling for over 40 years. Dr. S and Doug are genuine to the bone. They truly care about every guest they have and you can feel it. They share their own pain and struggles too, so you understand where they have come from in this journey we call life. 

     I used to have an office job, writing programs but I was miserable. I didn't feel any sense of fulfillment doing that. I now know I can't go back to that life either. I ignored my spirit and my life showed that. I was on antidepressants for 30 years and I've been off them since the Retreat, 4 months now. My spirit is happy and I know that I have a higher calling to help others in this life which doesn't involve sitting behind a desk. I've just completed a Reiki class and signed up to study to be a modern Shaman. Is life perfect? Of course not. But I healed some wounds during my time at Eden and I'm working on healing the rest. I left with peace, joy and love that passes all understanding. I sense a higher calling and after ignoring that for 30 years. I'm done with that chapter of my life. And those 5 total strangers? We talk several times a month and will be my friends forever. We are making plans to take a trip back when all our schedules will work out and I look forward to that reunion with them and all the staff.

     What an amazing experience from the drive up to this stunning location to the deep introspection on my flight home. The Vision Quest and sound healing were incredible for me.      "Y’all!!!! Hole. Lee. Shit! I am so excited about the transformation that I have experienced! I have had multiple people, my closest friends and some not so close, tell me that I seem like a completely different person after returning back from Denver. They have NO clue!      I had no idea why I was coming to Eden. I just felt compelled to say yes to the unknown. There has been a strong pull to something and the signs and triggers were becoming overwhelming.      After struggling with eating disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for most of my life, I have finally found some peace. I had tried weekly talk therapy, anti-depressants, and nothing seemed to work. After my 3-day retreat with Eden, my desire to binge and purge is gone! A Truly Unique Experience

     Oh my Gosh, where do I even start? From the moment I arrived, I felt I was in the right place. I have never traveled totally solo before, so admittedly, I was a bit anxious about being by myself with unknown people, experiences, and places. The Eden Team made me feel completely at home. From the very beginning, they made it so easy to just ask for anything we needed or wanted and our entire group became instant friends. 

     Dr. S and Doug are so knowledgeable in study and also experience, so the connections they make are completely genuine and make people feel perfectly understood. The Truth You Are Searching For

     It's inside you, and Eden will create the space for you to find it in yourself. My time at Eden was infinitely more than I could have imagined it to be. There is so much thought and care put into everything you experience. I arrived on day 1 with over 20 "strangers" and within a couple of days we all knew each other on a level that most people never get to in their normal lives. Absolute Transformation!

     My weekend at The Sacred House of Eden was transformative. Hands down the most difficult and transformative experience I have ever had in my life.      I returned from Eden three days ago and thanks to the amazing, warm, insightful, loving Eden team, my life (and mindset) is now filled with happiness and hope - two things that have been quite elusive for me for the last few long years.  Doug, Dr S, and the Eden team helped me realize for the first time in my life that I don't need to worry so much. What Dr. Stefanie has created here is beyond words!

     I am a psychiatrist towards the end of my career.   And I can say with certainty, we have had much of it incorrect.  I am a non-crunchy, football watching, non-drug using, non-alt person.  I follow allopathic medicine.  
    Dr. Stefanie has blown up the standard.  She has it correct. Her entire process IS what we should be doing with patients first.  I am floored and humbled. Hard to put into words...Absolutely Safe & Incredible!

     My Eden experience was incredible. The set up, in general, is very nurturing and safe. Dr. S, Doug, and their angels welcomed us with so much openness and acceptance. I wasn't sure what to expect of the other guests, but they were lovely humans, and I don't think the experiences we each had would've been possible without each other.     

    The environment is so open and accepting, and no one there is putting on an act. Each interaction, day or night, with each person, staff or guest, was kind and genuine.  The ceremonies were very meaningful and felt very safe. I got so much out of them. Each morning we were also encouraged to journal, participate in a brief, easy morning meditation, and then we processed together what we learned. I was nervous that so much personal interaction with strangers would be awkward, but somehow it wasn't at all. Dr. S created the perfect environment and she is masterful in her work.  

     I also had intended to book a private bedroom, but it was sold out and I booked Camp Eden, and that was completely comfortable for me. The space is big, nests are comfy, and with the vibe like it is, no one ever really retreated away to their private rooms anyway.  

     I don't know that words can describe my experience at Eden, but I am eternally grateful for it. I feel like I can see everything a little more clearly now. I feel happier with myself and with others. I feel more open to learning new things, more hopeful and excited about the future. I was stuck and now I am SO ready to live!

I am a single mom of 4 teenagers who runs my own business and attempts to navigate the hustle and bustle of a New York suburb every day with light.  When the darkness crept in and began to take over, I visited Eden with debilitating anxiety and hope.
